The short version
- Reading the site and using the Readiness Checker and the Value Estimator does not send us your answers. The tools run in your browser.
- If you email the Desk, we use what you send to reply to you and, only with your consent, to introduce you to third-party providers (marketplaces, brokers, insurers, advisers) that transact §6418 credits.
- We may be paid a referral fee if you go on to work with a provider we introduce. Because of that, an introduction may count as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under some U.S. state laws. You can opt out at any time.
- We do not run advertising or advertising trackers.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you email the Desk, we receive what you choose to send, typically your name, email address, company, role, details of your credit or interest (credit type, amount, timing) and your message. If you come from the Readiness Checker, the email is pre-filled with your Checker answers, which you can see and change before you send. Please do not include Social Security numbers, EINs, bank details or confidential deal documents.
Information collected automatically. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and the page requested in order to deliver and secure the site. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits in aggregate without cookies.
Our email providers. Desk email is received and stored by our email service providers so that we can manage your enquiry.
2. How we use it
To understand and answer your enquiry, prepare a readiness summary for you, and, with your consent, make introductions. A person is accountable for every introduction.
3. How we share it
- Providers you agree to be introduced to. We share your details with a marketplace, broker, insurer or adviser only with your consent. We may receive a referral fee or other compensation. We do not vet, endorse or guarantee any provider.
- Service providers that host the site, handle email, store data and provide the tools we use to handle correspondence, acting on our behalf.
- Legal reasons, where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Prefer that we don’t share your details? Say so in your email, and we will simply answer your questions.
4. Contact consent and opting out
If you agree to an introduction, you agree that TaxCreditTransfer and the providers we introduce you to may contact you about §6418 transactions. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing the Desk or by unsubscribing from emails; we will stop and pass the request on.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Email the Desk and write “privacy request” or “do not share”. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
6. Retention and security
We keep enquiry information as long as needed to respond, make introductions, keep records of consent and meet legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is completely secure.
7. Children
This site is for businesses and professionals and is not directed to children.
8. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and show the new date at the top.
